Orders

Your order becomes binding as soon as we have accepted it.

All orders are subject to availability.

Charlotte Jade do not take responsibility for the over-ordering or under ordering of any wallpaper or fabric or any other products.

You as the buyer are responsible for checking and confirming that you are satisfied that all details of your order are correct and suitable for your requirements and specifications, including without limitation measurements, dimensions, product features, quantities, access and delivery.

We reserve the right to refuse to supply any individual or company.

Wallpaper

Wallpaper descriptions, dimensions and weights are given by Charlotte Jade to the buyer and are stated in good faith but are approximate only.

Charlotte Jade standard wallpapers are sold by the roll 52cm by 10m in coated or uncoated wallpaper finish. Other finishes are available upon request.

Precise colour matching cannot be guaranteed between different batches. If you are re-ordering to match an existing product please contact us at info@charlotte-jade.co.uk and highlight your batch number to which we will endeavour to ensure a product from that batch is delivered to you, however this cannot be guaranteed due to stock availability and therefore it is advised to order all rolls together.

Bespoke wallpaper orders/vinyl wallpaper may also be sold in full metres depending on the quantity required. Wallpaper by the metre is printed in a variety of widths, depending on base and the pattern repeat. This can be discussed upon ordering your wallpaper.

Minimum order quantity of 10 rolls (smaller orders can be discussed on an individual basis) and minimum order quantity of 1m if sold by the metre.

Bespoke wallpapers orders are non-refundable.

If you require us to estimate your wallpaper, we cannot be held responsible for any additional rolls which have not been used. Our estimations are extremely accurate but depending on how the wallpaper has been hung and the method that has been used, can result in an over ordering of wallpaper rolls. Charlotte Jade will not be held responsible for this.

Cushions and Fabric

Cushion covers are sold without the inner pillow. Charlotte Jade recommends a duck feather filled pad.

Care instructions are given as a guide and Charlotte Jade will not be liable for any damage to goods.

As fabrics and dyes can be affected by light. We recommend that products are positioned away from direct sunlight and heat to protect them from fading.

All fabrics have different manufacturing and natural characteristics. When selecting a fabric you must be aware of its suitability for purpose.

Fabric shades may vary slightly from one printing batch to another.

Bespoke fabric orders will only be sold by full metres with a minimum orders varying between fabric bases. Please enquire with us directly for minimum order quantities.

Fabrics come in a variety of widths, so please do enquire about this before placing your order.

Fabrics are not sold with Flame Resistant coatings, unless specifically stated by Charlotte Jade. Please request Flame Resistant coatings if you require this for your project. If we do not receive a request we will assume you are happy to have no fire protection.

If you have requested a specific fire coating, it is advised that shrinkage of up to 3% may occur and 30cm of your fabric will be used as a test piece for the fire coating. Please take this into account when placing your fabric order, as you will require a greater quantity to cover the shrinkage and testing.

If you are re-ordering to match an existing product please contact us at info@charlotte-jade.co.uk and supply us an original piece and we will endeavour to produce a commercial match. A perfect match cannot be guaranteed.

Bespoke fabric orders are non-refundable.

Art Prints

Art prints are sold without a frame.

Colours may vary slightly from one printing batch to another.

Bespoke art print orders are non-refundable.

Samples

Before purchasing products, we advise that a sample is provided. Please email: info@charlotte-jade.co.uk to order samples.

Wallpaper & fabric samples will come at a cost of £2.30 + VAT + Delivery.

Wallpaper samples are 210mm W x 297mm H

Fabric samples are 10.5mm W x 297mm H

Sample packs can be ordered at £25 + VAT + Delivery; Packs contain 5 wallpaper samples and 5 fabric samples.

Please be aware that ‘Paper Reference Samples’ are a guide only for the scale and general design of the pattern. If you receive a ‘Paper Reference Sample’ from us, the colour cannot be regarded as accurate.

Wholesale Suppliers

Once you purchase our products for stock within your retail or online store, these products are non returnable and non refundable by Charlotte Jade.

Bespoke Services

Bespoke goods are any goods specifically personalised and/or tailored to your specifications, including but not limited to wallpaper, fabrics, art prints and any design as a product from our ‘Print Archive’ (“Bespoke Goods”).

Bespoke Goods are non-refundable.

Charlotte Jade reserve the right to use all designs and photographs of the product across our website and social media platforms. We will never disclose any personal information or details to third parties or online.

Charlotte Jade will own the right to any bespoke design work created for you. We have the right to reproduce it and sell as a Charlotte Jade product.

Proof of your bespoke order will be sent via email. You are responsible for checking that the order is free from any errors and/or inaccuracies. Charlotte Jade will not be held responsible for any such errors or inaccuracies and we will not accept any requests for refunds in these circumstances. We can, however, organise replacements at the same cost.

Any alterations must be rechecked and approved by the customer.

Samples are always advised on bespoke orders to avoid any disappointment with the colour of your product.

Bespoke Payments

Bespoke costs will vary depending on the specification.

Once we have discussed a timeframe and approved an estimate for your Bespoke Goods, Charlotte Jade will require either a non-refundable deposit of 75% of the overall cost or a non-refundable deposit of 100% of the overall cost. Any remaining fee will be required once the proofs have been agreed and before the order has been processed.

All costs are to be paid in GBP (Pounds Sterling) by bank transfer.

VAT, packaging and delivery will be additionally applied to every costing.

Once the balance of payment has been paid, Bespoke Goods orders cannot be cancelled or changed.

Charlotte Jade will not be responsible for any late delivery if payments are delayed beyond our control.

Please note: minimum order quantities may apply to certain bespoke products.

Bespoke Deliveries

Additional time scales and delivery time scales will apply to bespoke services due to the specifications being tailored to the buyer.

Please allow 12 weeks for our bespoke design service. To avoid disappointment please do get in contact as early as possible.

If possible, Charlotte Jade will always try to accommodate tighter timescales. This may however incur a greater cost for your bespoke design. Please advise on your timescales when you make your initial enquiry with Charlotte Jade. Please contact info@charlotte-jade.co.uk.

Charlotte Jade take extreme care when packaging products.

Please see Deliveries section below for delivery information, terms and conditions.

Bespoke goods tailored to your projects which are delivered as described and are in good condition will not be refundable.

Prices and Payment Methods

All prices featured on Charlotte Jade include 20% VAT and are excluding packaging and delivery unless otherwise stated.

Prices are listed in Pounds Sterling unless otherwise specified.

Users can purchase products from Charlotte Jade with a valid credit or debit card via PayPal.

Charlotte Jade reserves the right to change prices of products and remove special offers at any time.

Full payments must be made prior to goods being dispatched. You are responsible for supplying accurate payment and delivery details with your purchase. Charlotte Jade will not accept an order unless all customer details are correct.

If a Charlotte Jade product is out of stock, you will be notified by email as early as reasonably possible. You will have the option to wait until your product is back in stock or to cancel your order. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a legitimate email address to be contacted on.

Delivery

Delivery cost will vary depending on destination of the recipient and total weight of package.

Please allow 5-7 working days for UK deliveries on items that are in stock. Delivery time for international deliveries will vary.

Charlotte Jade currently only ship to these international countries: United Kingdom, United States, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Russia and Malta. Charlotte Jade are not responsible for import duties for International shipments.

Additional time scales / deliveries will apply to bespoke services due to the specifications being a tailored service.

Quoted delivery times are given as an estimate.

All goods are dispatched suitably packaged for transit purposes only.

Products will be sent via tracked Recorded Delivery, providing you with the most reliable delivery service. It is very important, therefore, that you provide an address where someone is able to sign for your delivery.

Charlotte Jade will not be liable for any order which has been misplaced in the post. Wherever possible we will obtain a proof of postage.

Damaged goods

Items must be thoroughly checked for damage at point of delivery. After goods have been accepted / signed for, Charlotte Jade can accept no responsibility of damage to your item.

If your item does arrived damaged, please do not accept the delivery and contact Charlotte Jade immediately for a replacement either by telephone on +44 (0) 7743134343 or email info@charlotte-jade.co.uk.

Proof of damage (for example a photograph of the damage) may be required. Upon return of damaged/incorrect good, the full price of goods will be refunded through the payment method used to purchase the goods.

Charlotte Jade take extreme care when packaging products. Charlotte Jade will hold no responsibility for loss or damage to your order once it has been dispatched. Charlotte Jade shall not be held responsible for any late delivery.

Charlotte Jade do not take responsibility for goods that have been damaged after delivery as a result of poor handling or storage.

Returns and Cancellations

Non-bespoke products may be returned. Returns will only be accepted if the product is unopened and undamaged and we are notified of this return within 7 days of delivery date. Customers are entitled to a full refund once we receive your returned goods. Accounts will be credited within 7 working days.

Customers wishing to return items must notify Charlotte Jade in writing via email: info@charlotte-jade.co.uk.

Customers are solely responsible for the arrangement of and costs of delivery and/or collection of any returned goods.

Returns must be sent to: The Barn Goldingtons, Church Lane, Sarratt, Hertfordshire, WD3 6HE and must include all documentation you received with the purchase.

Refunds will not be given on any wallpaper that has been hung.

If there is a fault with the wallpaper, Charlotte Jade advises you to stop hanging immediately. Please contact Charlotte Jade immediately and we will consult with our suppliers for analysis. Upon consulting with our suppliers, if they agree to the fault, we will issue replacement wallpaper. If the customer proceeds to hang the faulty wallpaper, we cannot take any responsibility for the wallpaper and will not provide replacement wallpaper or a refund. Charlotte Jade would never encourage a faulty product to remain in your home/business.

Charlotte Jade will not be held responsible for third party contracting/hanging fees on any circumstance, including if the wallpaper is faulty. We must be notified before any wallpaper is hung if there is any issue.

If you receive an incorrect item, Charlotte Jade must be notified immediately upon delivery. Replacement orders will be sent free of charge providing we are notified within 7 days of delivery date. No claim will be accepted outside this time. In this instance, returned delivery cost will be refunded, provided receipt of postage is proven.

You are entitled to cancel your order, providing your order has not been dispatched. If you do wish to cancel your order, Charlotte Jade must be notified by email at info@charlotte-jade.co.uk.

Intellectual Property and Content

You recognise and agree that all copyright, database rights, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material and/or content of this website is owned by Charlotte Jade.

All images and content remain the property and copyright of Charlotte Jade. You are not permitted to reproduce, duplicate or manipulate any of the content and/or images without the explicit consent of Charlotte Jade.

Accuracy of Content

All reasonable efforts have been made to ensure that product details, descriptions & prices are correct.

All content displayed throughout our website is provided in good faith and although every effort has been made to ensure the colours and quality appear as accurately as possible, it cannot be guaranteed that your device will display the colours as per the goods you have purchased. No responsibility can be accepted for these variations.

Before purchasing a product, it is therefore advised that you purchase samples to avoid any disappointment upon delivery. Please see Samples section above for details on how to request samples and the costs.

We aim to keep our website content as up to date and accurate as possible, however due to inadvertent clerical or administrative errors the information including product descriptions appearing on our website at any particular time may not always reflect the product exactly.

Data Protection and Privacy

We will respect the privacy of your personal data and we will not disclose your personal data to anyone, unless required to do so by a court of competent jurisdiction.

To proceed with your order, we have to process and store your data providing your data to third parties who are directly involved with your order, such as couriers. By placing an order with us, you agree to your data being processed by Charlotte Jade. We will not pass on your data to anyone outside our organisation.

We will periodically send email newsletters regarding our latest news and offers if you have opted-in to receive such communications. If you do opt-in to receive marketing emails, you can opt out at any time.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable procedures to protect and secure the information we collect online.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties.

Liability

Nothing in the terms and conditions in any way limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or by fraud.

Any instructions are given as a guide, Charlotte Jade will not take responsibility for any loss or damages caused in connection with our products.

Although we make every effort to make sure that this site is free from viruses and defects unfortunately we cannot guarantee that use of this website or those linked from it will not cause damage to your computer. Charlotte Jade will not be liable for any loss or damage caused from the use of this site. 

Amendments to the Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any such amendments will take effect when posted on the www.charlotte-jade.co.uk and it is the buyers responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion.
