About Charlotte Jade
Hand drawn designs are Charlotte Jade’s specialist subject one at which we excel.
A family-run business, luxury interiors brand Charlotte Jade was created by ourselves, Charlotte and Kate O’Reilly, a sister partnership based on a combined passion for design and the worlds of interiors and fashions.
At Charlotte Jade, we believe in capturing the natural beauty of the outside world and bringing it into our interiors. In a world overrun by technology, we seem to have lost our innate connection to nature, a connection with unparalleled importance to our wellbeing. Our ethos of transferring the natural world inside, relates to the increasingly popular idea of Biophillic Design, the concept of incorporating elements of the natural world into our internal environments. This has been proven to reduces stress, aid our mental wellbeing and improve productivity within the work place.
So how do we do this? Our design process starts with hand drawn patterns in pencil, which capture the intricate details, textures and the beauty of our natural world. These drawings are then brought to life with modern digital colouring and printing techniques, which add the vibrant colours and enhance the detailing in our designs. From the distinctive black and white ringed tail of a lemur to the delicate barbs of a bird’s feather or the dramatically bold leaves in our botanical designs, each detail tells a unique story. The essence of our work is simple; to create realistic and unique patterns which capture the beauty of our fascinating and beautiful natural world.
Our hand drawn beautiful patterns are available on wallpaper, textiles, upholstery fabrics, cushions, ceramic tiles and flooring. We are dedicated to and passionate about British manufacturing so all of our products are printed and made here in the UK.
If you want something completely different that’s personal to you, we also offer a special bespoke design service. As each pattern is personally designed and drawn by Charlotte, there’s wonderful scope to create something uniquely special and very individual.
Charlotte Jade’s designs have been used internationally within both residential and commercial properties. Our commissions to-date include bespoke print designs for Kelly Hoppen Interiors and branded wallpaper design for One Housing Group, as well as working on a number of international hotel developments and commercial and residential projects. Exciting and creative, Charlotte Jade has a great reputation for quality, reliability and exceptional design.

Charlotte’s understated, delicate nature combined with an impeccable eye and exceptional design skills have become the foundations for her successful design career to date. Her passion for print grew throughout her final year of University.
Upon graduating from Camberwell College of Arts in 2014, Charlotte O’Reilly knew she eventually wanted to have her own interiors brand.
Charlotte started her career at a London fabric specialist, providing trend setting print designs to high street retailers such as ASOS and Urban Outfitters – working exclusively on their Spring Summer 2015 collection.
Having worked for numerous high profile clients, her impressive portfolio boasts bespoke prints for Topshop, branding and bespoke video content for musicians and Universal Music, as well as being a twice published illustrator and an exhibited designer for Tracy Andrews Interiors at the Grand Designs exhibition in 2015.
Alongside this, Charlotte has worked with high profile interior designers, hotel chains and private clients developing beautiful patterns which she turns into designer wallpapers, textiles, upholstery fabrics, ceramic tiles and luxury stationery. All in use by home owners and commercial clients alike.
A fashion obsessive, Kate’s extensive commercial experience lies in the world of styling and fashion buying.
Having spent her early career as a fashion assistant at high profile magazines POP, Elle and Harpers Bazaar, Kate honed in on her natural flare for clothing, and made bold creative decisions with a carefully balanced view of what works in mainstream print.
Kate decided she wanted to work more within the commercial side of fashion, pursuing a career in the world of fashion buying. The past five years have been spent at the high-street fashion giant Topshop, developing designs and buying items for not only their self titled collection but more recently their highly publicised brand collaboration with global superstar Beyoncé – Ivy Park.
Kate continues to maintain her interest in fashion, trends and product development and manages the development and commercial direction of the Charlotte Jade brand.
